Question by Jimmy: Shall i get Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 or Xperia X10 mini pro ?
im really stuck between these two…i mainly want a mobile to listen to music and capture routine pictures..so X8 comes with a 3.2MP camera without flash but it has a good battery life plus the screen is relatively big. on the other hand, x10 mini pro comes with 5MP autofocus camera with flash but the screen is a bit small….plus it has a poor battery life…both have almost same price tag….so i m confused …..anyone here kindly help me out…thanks..

If you want a Sony Xperia phone, the most powerful Xperia device would be the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S. It has a 1.4 ghz processor, an 8.1 megapixle camera, and many other features. It’s kinda pricey though, so the X10 Mini Pro would be your best bet. Why? Because they are almost the same device, except the X10 has the better camera. They both have a 600 mhz processor, which is not that good if you want to be surfing the web and watching videos. That’s the same power as the 2009 Iphone 3gs. You might as well get the Iphone 3gs, slightly more powerful, and has about the same price tag, even cheaper if you get a contract. The only reason someone would choose the Xperia X8 or X10 mini is for the Android OS, but the OS is very old on both devices.

Definitely get the x8. Trust me you will not regret it. The X10 mini screen size is just to small to do anything on it really. A lot of the apps on the market won’t work because the screen size is just too low, the x10 mini effectively has 65k colours whereas the x8 has 16 million. Think about it, having a 5mp camera is no good if the screen your viewing it on is crap. The X8 is a good solid phone, I’ve been using it for about 5 months now and have had no problems so far. I would also consider rooting(jaibreaking) as it unlocks so many more features for the phone as well as giving it a massive speed boost. It’s a risk free one button job and if you ever need to use the warranty just factory reset it. Easy as that.
I would definitely get the X8 If I was you, the x10′s screen is just too too small to do anything.

Go for Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 and if you want qwerty then go for Xperia X10 mini pro.
